Institutional racism, wealth inequality, and voting rights are injustices that are increasingly apparent in American society.
Christians should be speaking out for justice and finding ways to protect citizens rights to vote in order to have a chance to address other human inequities.
In studying Practical Theology and through the Atlanta Presbytery, I have learned about actions Christians are involved in to address social injustices like voter suppression.
I am continuing to discern how I might pursue ministry to help combat voter suppression and to engage more marginalized citizens to exercise their fundamental rights essential to democracy.
